Boy I'm glad the 24V 2nd Gen is a Plug and Play pump. Man taking apart a CP3 and doing that mod might make me a bit scared...:-o

I assumed this is what you get with a "stage" 1 or 2 pump.

Yes, from what I have found out.. It is suposively relatively easy..

It's one part of of a the modifications made to the pump. There are other internal mods to passages and pistons to get the flows they are producing. From what I gather total max output is not changed with this mod but the low to mid range flow is boosted a bit. Be interesting to see if that is true or how it varys between trucks.

Its pretty easy as the FCA bolts to the outside of the pump with three screws. Not much to taking it off. Even you VP guys can handle that. ;-)

In order to boost the total output the CP3 has to be disassembled and massaged just like the VP. THEN we can plug and play and not drain the rail.

that would be a stage 1 or CP3-1 with a dual feed line,, but NOT dual CP3's.

So, what are the advantages of dual CP-3??? Just more fuel supply to the rail for more HP?

These newer trucks are pretty $ to modify arent they?

Dual CP3's keep the rail from draining, especially with BIG injectors. and stacks.

to a point they are reasonably cheap to modify, the bad news for me is im way past that.$$$ $$$ $$$
