Allison Spin on filter.

I'm diggin that deal, tranny biulders should have done that years ago. I plan to change that at each engine oil change. That is probably too often, but i want this thingy to last.

I want a Suncoast stage iv or vi what ever it is... you know the whooop asss one. I hope for it to be a improvement not a have to.

That's how often I change mine. I get them from the local Detroit/Allison repair shop. I think they are about $7.50 a piece there.

I am using fleetgaurd filters on mine, i can get them at cost through the Deere Dealer. The Dodge guys will tell you that having a Cummins part on the Duramax will gain me 10 hp. LOL

Yeah dropping the pan to change the filter is a pain in the butt. I wonder why Dodge or any aftermarket guys haven't gone to the spin on setup?

Where you been, everyone knows that the Allison is the best tranny to put behind a diesel period. You don't see anyone putting a 47re behind a duramax but there is a kit to put a Alli behind a Cummins.:thumbup:

I do wanna upgrade the tranny at some point. The thing is these guys all mean well and don't think for a minute that i haven't been talking smack to these guys for a while.LOL I deserve all the crap i get!!!!:lol:
