Edge Comp Returned!

Recommended Posts

Guest Mopar1973Man

Well...

I got it back from Edge and ther reprogrammed it.

After hooking it up and firing up the try a got the CEL light right off. Error code are as follows...

236, 237, 500, 1693

I know the 236 & 237 are MAP codes. So I duoble check my connection and clear the code.

But the program that put in it suxs! No smoke! No power! No Boost! My max boost is 21 PSI on 5x5. I was doing that without the box even hooked up. I tried unpluging the MAP sensor trick 22 PSI with a small puff of smoke. I double check the injection plate and the injector wire got +12V coming out... So I changed all main levels to sub level 5... Still no go! So I called Edge they are sending out a new one. I'm willing to live with the orignal bug over this one...

Well I'm going to be talking to myself...

But I got another Edge Comp again. I'm on #3 now! But I'm back to the orignal bug with Version 8.0. But I got power again. So I know now that I can reduce the sublevel on 4 at all it must remain at 5.

So I'm currently set up as...

1x1

2x2

3x3

4x5

5x5

I run normally on 1x1 for MPGs but I can bump to 4 or 5 for the juice!

That's really flustrating all the problems your having trying to get one of these to work, hopefully they can get it fixed or I'd try to get my money back and buy another product.

Well at the moment its fixed... But I'm back to the orignal bug that I found... So I know that 4 level must be at 4x5 to get the 5x5 to work right!
