Crank Case Vent Relocation

Recommended Posts

Parts needed..

3/4 X 3/4 Copper pipe 90

4 ft of 3/4 hose

3/4 rubber cap of some kind.

6 fairly long zip ties.

Remove the black resonator on the top of the engine. Squeeze the clamp on the crankcase vent and remove it from the turbo inlet. Cap the turbo inlet with the rubber cap. Insert the copper 90 onto the crankcase vent hose and adjust the clamp to grip the 90. Install the 3/4 hose onto the 90, use one ziptie as a hose clamp at the copper 90. Route the hose along and underneath the top radiator hose ,drop it down infront of the ecm , route it down the outside of the frame to the front part of the wheel well. Check for binding and ziptie the vent hose to secure it. Reinstall the resonator...drink cold beer now.
