I was looking at my DP magazine and they have this new product called the IntelliStick. It replaces the factory dipstick with on that has a sensor that is supposed to analyze your oil. I wonder if it is very accurate compared to a full on lab analysis.

Bummer is, they have the 7.3's and the 6.4 but no dang 6.0!:-x

GMs have something like that stock don't they? The truck at work tells us when to change the oil, fuel filter, etc. My brother's 07 2500HD with the 6.0L does the same thing too.

I believe that it just determined off of mileage, not the condition of the oil.

Ya, Gm goes of mileage not on the actual condition, I have syn. in it now, so it's a little off.. That would be a good idea on a replacement dipstick to analyze the oil. Wander how accurate those things really are....
