Conoco, Phillips 66 & Flying J Are back to Summer Fuel

FYI, I talked to a driver for Conoco/Phillips 66 and he told me that they are dropping "summer" fuel in the storage tanks as of 3/1/08.

We're gonna need something alot more better than Vaseline........ Why are 'they' talking about how it will be 4 or 5 or 6 bucks soon?

It's the same when raising fuel taxes. Because cars are more efficient, they buy less gas which means fewer tax dollars in the coffers. As mpg goes up, tax dollars go down so states are having to raise gasoline taxes to offset the deficit. :bs

Speaking of this we just talked about this today in Economics. Butch sent a bill to state legislature saying he wanted flat fee $150 car registrations. Funds to go to building roads, but state shot it down last week. One of the compromises is supposed to be higher tax on gas....:-x $$$ $$$ $$$ $$$

Man that is all we need raise it to 5 bucks a gallon. I can't afford it now.
