Winter time is coming to Idaho

Recommended Posts

Just only 5 miles north of my place riding up on the north end of Water Water Wilderness Ranch heading towards my Fire Chief's house to give him a hand on wiring up a 6.0L Ford Powerstroke with all the fire device like a siren, radio, overhead lights, etc. So I came up over the ridge and saw the view it was pretty and I wanted it for my desktop so grabbed the cell phone and shot a few pictures. Being Android Phone and Linux work flawless together it's super simple to have a new desktop pic in seconds.

Just like my Cummins I had to have my A-pillar of gauges for the PC too...

I hate winter, hate the summer too. I'm more of a fall and spring kind of guy.

Totally agree... I hate the scorching heat and the bitter cold. I can handle the mildly cool days nice to be out working hard without drowning in a gallon of sweat pouring off your forehead. I look at it this way its easier to handle cold because you can always make it warmer with fire. But it's an absolute b___h to make a hot day cooler unless you got air conditioning.

Another funny... MoparMom asked if I would replace the outside light on the corner of the house to provide more light in the driveway. So I stopped in Home Depot and picked up two 120 watt LED flood bulbs (actually 12 watts power used) but got the daylight version of bulbs. Then last night installed them and re-aimed the lights.

Now this morning I get up and MoparMom has already been up for a bit and said' "it snowed last night". I'm like "really?!" So I look out the front door with the lights on and don't see any snow at all. So MoparMom looks again and mistaken the flood lights and the light pattern for snow. :o
