ROTM is back! Get your pics in now!

HAHA. Unfortunately it appears I entered the battle a couple days after it ended lol. Can I get a free pass for next month?? Maybe I'll have some cooler, better bling pics to post by then.

    Almost time

Wish it was like that over here. We can find stuff within 1.5-2 hrs that is decent, but even then the honey holes are far and few between. Kind of glad I'm busy with racing for the next few weeks. This year just needs to be over so we can hopefully rebound next year. I guess if the sleds are still running I shouldn't be complaining too bad..... lol

    sitten to low

It'd be a good idea to have the alignment check after adjusting the torsion bars too. Be careful as to how much you crank them up as even though they will make the truck 'level' with the rear, damage could be done to parts up front. The stock shocks can only go so far and could be damaged by over-extension. Going to far can also cause the angles of the drive shafts to become too steep causing potential problems down the road. There are a ton of threads on other forums about leveling trucks, and they can provide you a better understanding of how things work. IMO if you are looking to be within 1-2" of level with the rear of the truck a true leveling kit with longer shocks may treat you better in the long run. The further up they are cranked will also affect ride comfort a little from what I've heard. I cranked mine up last summer 1.5", but couldn't tell much difference. I also replaced all 4 shocks with HD Bilsteins too (make sure to get the ones that accept up to 2" lift up front so they don't over-extend). Hope that helps a little.
  5. First race of the season is coming up. Will be heading from Blackfoot through Montpelier and to the WY border on Hwy 89 on Thursday 2/18. Coming back most likely Saturday early afternoon the same way. Will have plenty of space in the gooseneck if anyone needs to throw something in. Just let me know a few days in advance because it's going to be hectic by the time I'm loading up.

Yeah, I've been wanting to get over to the Anthony Lakes snowmobile races the last couple years, but things just keep me too busy over here. Some day I'll get to venture out of my bubble lol.

Me either. Only problem now is I'm sidelined with a tendon injury in my forearm for at least a week No a total loss though because now I can spend extra time letting the boy ride his 120 so he can be ready for the races as well. Life is good.

Never a good day when a wreck ends the ride. At least he wants to give it a go again. Always have to 'jump back on the horse' when it comes to playin with toys.

HA! Well this thread kind of fell off the map........Just like the snow for most of us. I'll start it up again. Been trying to dodge rocks and stumps, but have still found a few spots to play. Vids viewable in 720p [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLeaOGMhRzM][/ame]zLeaOGMhRzM

More or less. 2011 Summit Freeride, but there is not much difference with the 2012. The kids love riding a lot. I am trying to find a mini 120cc sled for them this winter. There are a few races that they can race in which would be awesome. I will try to get some good pics this weekend. My phone takes horrible pics.

Only have some crappy phone pics from after I bought it. Just need to finish the trailer and we'll be ready to roll.
  21. Well, got my first and last ride of July in this year. Luckily didn't break enough stuff and actually rode it out just fine. My body survived most of the carnage too. Starting to look for a newer sled if anyone is selling theirs shoot me some info on it. Specific, stock models are my starting point: 2011 Ski-Doo Freeride 2011 Ski-Doo Summit 800 E-TEC 154" (SP, X, etc...) OR 2011 Polaris Pro Assault 2011 Polaris Pro RMK 155" No add-ons please i.e. vent kits, risers, running board inserts, pipes, porting, etc... Aftermarket cans OK if you still have the stock can. Basically would like the sled to be how it came out of the crate. Polaris sleds seem to be everywhere, but would like to give an ITD member a shot first if the price is right. Thanks racer

Can't wait for the snow to fly. Crazy NorEaster storms need to start here in the Rockies! Riding in July '11 didn't really pan out too great for me, but if there's snow like last year we will be riding well into the summer again. Have a lot of potential big rides planned, maybe Canada, maybe filming with a few guys, etc... Will be racing for sure. 2011 Summit Freeride this year. Bring on the snow!

    In America

X Approx. 11,000,000 (estimated # of illegal immigrants as of 2011) Stop giving FREE benefits to illegal aliens. Stop dumping billions of dollars of aid money to foreign countries, only to let our country suffer from lack of jobs, resources during emergencies, skyrocketing costs of living, etc.... Stop letting the leaches suck the Welfare & SS programs dry. (I know, total pipe dream) Develop more affordable prescription medications and services for the elderly. Quit tickling Corporate America's B***SACK with BILLIONS of $$$s of OUR money in bailouts and hold them responsible for their total lack of moral aptitude.

    broke my new Dmax

LB7, LLY, LBZ??? What DMax motor you running? LB7's are notorious for injector problems, but with what you're dealing with I would expect more noticeable symptoms. Is there any white smoke while running, or fuel in the oil? Couple good signs of injector problems. They do 'tick, tick, tick, tick' like a typewriter as well. GM says nothing you can do about it on the LB7, but it's annoying because everyone thinks something is wrong with the engine. That will not affect anything performance-wise though. Not very knowledgeable about things on '04.5 year motors or newer or I would try to help more. racer
