  1. Spring 2015 Dyno Day, 4-18-15

Clackams is on the other side of Oregon near Portland. I won't be able to make this one...
  2. New diesel

This is just a little front wheel drive for running around town. But it is fun to drive. It gets up and goes pretty quick.
  3. New diesel

My wife's daily driver Suburban has been showing its age for a while now, so I went out and got her a more fuel efficient vehicle. 2012 Jetta TDI. We took it over to Washington this last week and got close to 45mpg. 600 miles on 1 tank (15 gal), with room to spare.

  5. Central Idaho Diesel Mechanic

    Congrats on the job!
  6. New job.

    That's a hell of a gig, congrats!
  7. Knock! Knock! Who's There?

I'm still popping in here. I just don't have much to say.
  8. "Veteran" Designation on ID Driver License

Good luck with those finals. After I test for Master in February, it will be back to school for me.
  9. Fuel prices

3.59 would be nice. It was 3.79 in Mtn Home going into this weekend. And that was a drop from 3.89 a week ago.
  10. First deer

Both these deer have tasted good. One grew up eating potatoes and bell peppers, and the other had corn in it's scat from a couple fields away from where I got it. My daughter didn't have a problem with the gutting. It was her first little gross out test, because she wants to be a forensic scientist when she grows up and she may have to deal with a crime scene like that. I still need to fill my 10 year olds tag. Hopefully she will do alright with the gutting as well.
  11. Noob olde phart with a 6.0

    Welcome to ITD.
  12. First deer

And my wife's first deer. This was in a short range area with a friend's muzzle loader. Thanks to this one shot, she got a deer, and I got permission to buy me a black powder rifle (come tax return)...
  13. First deer

I didn't make her do the gutting. It was pitch black out and we needed to get it done and going, so I just had her hold the flashlight and help hold the leg open. She did keep the heart. It was delicious.
  14. First deer

This is my oldest daughter, she's 14, and she got this tonight.
