Here is one I put together some time ago.
  3. What are you towing???

No, it was something you said one night in chat, and I thought it was funny.
  4. What are you towing???

It's my friends trailer, his is going to use it for 2 sprint boats, when I was pulling it, it was empty and still weighed in at 10,000#.
  5. What are you towing???

This is 48' and 10,000# longest and heavest load I have pulled with a pick-up.
  6. Looks like they both lost, just one may live again.
  7. power heated flip out tow mirrors

The heat part on these mirrors is great, push the button and the snow and ice melt off so nice, I can believe I lived with out it on my 95 for so long, I may have to get another set when I get the 95 running again. $$$
  8. Fish On

Welcome to Fish On, a NW Bomber I refered here to see if he could get some help Adj. the valves in his rig.
  9. power heated flip out tow mirrors

I should have done a better right up with pic's from start to finish, when I do the ones for the 96 I will do just that, so the people that have the older rigs can see how to hook up the power and heat.
  10. power heated flip out tow mirrors

You did it, you will really like these mirrors.
  11. power heated flip out tow mirrors

WOW, that is a better deal then I came up with, good find.
  12. power heated flip out tow mirrors

Remember the mirrors on the white 01 are aftermarket, power and heated, the mirrors on the silver 95 are oem non power non heated from an 01.

    Here are the pic's
  14. power heated flip out tow mirrors

I had a set of the slip on mirrors for a short time, it didn't matter if you were going 5 or 105mph they still shaked so bad you could see what was behind you, they were just there to keep the cops happy.
  15. power heated flip out tow mirrors

The mirrors I put on the 95 are factory off of an 01, that I bought some time ago, and fold back for those people that can't keep the mirrors from hitting things, the aftermarket mirrors I just put on the 01 also fold back for those people that can't keep the mirrors from hitting things, the aftermarket mirrors have the same quality and look as the factory mirrors, just cost a lot less then making you own from 2 sets of factory mirrors (one set of 2nd gen and one set of 3rd gen) to make a set of 2nd gen flip out, power, heated tow mirrors, so to answer your question; yes they do fold back, just like the factory mirrors, and are a plug and play mirror for 98.5-2002. I'll get more pic's some time, and post them.

When you are pulling something like this, it is very nice to see where you are, I'm also going for Functionality not looks, although I think they look better then the other aftermarket mirrors out there. That is the only pic I have with a set that is flipped out. That pic is of my 1995 on hwy55 south of McCall. Sorry to hear of the back order, when you get them you will love them.

So has anyone else got these put on yet?
  18. Big thanks to Ol Blue

I need to thank Rob for all of the work he did to my rig this Sunday, he installed the injection pump for me, helped with the install on the FASS HPFP, and the install on the Kool View mirrors, I did the exhaust on Saturday, you could say this weekend cost me some $$ but it is all worth it in the end. Thanks again BUDDY, I owe you on this one. The rig runs really good.

  20. power heated flip out tow mirrors

Mirror base, needs a relief cut to get the wire to the center, the base dose have one to start with, but it won't get the wire to the center, you can see the first relief in this shot, by the stud that is at the top of this pic. Another shot of the base, you can see the first relief in this shot, by the stud that is at the top of this pic also. Base with the relief cut, my thumb is pointing at the relief I cut. Another shot of the relief, my thumb is pointing at the relief I cut. Mirror is on. Driver side. These are a very nice mirror, and for the most part they are a bolt on, plug and play, I don't have any virbration when looking in them, now I have to put a set on my dad's 96 and hope I can figure a way to make the heat part work.
  21. power heated flip out tow mirrors

Just got the new mirrors installed today, went very easy, you will have to cut a small relief so you can pass the wiring, with out cutting it and to make the mirror base fit the door right, other then that it was strieght forward. I'll post pic's when I get thtem from Rob.
