    Ticking or clicking noise

UPDATE!! Me and my mechanic at work looked over everything. We did not have any kind of scan gauge. The noise is in and out not any kind of steady noise like valve train. We took the serpentine belt off and the sound was still there. Took the air intake off the turbo and it seems like the tip of the turbo has a lot of up and down movement. How much play is allowable? It sounds like the sound may be coming form there but, not sure!

It actually sounds like when the kids put a baseball card on there bicycle spokes.

Is there any other scanners that will be able to check the IAT ECT temps? I had new injector nozzles installed about 10 or 15k miles ago and they pop tested them when they installed them.

    Ticking or clicking noise

I adjusted the valves about 10,000 miles or so. This just started but, I can go though them again.

This sound is only during warm up. Goes away after you drive it and its warmed up. Doesn't sound like valves it actually sounds like it could be coming from the intake heater. Is this possible? Sounds like a card in a bicycle spokes! That is the best I can describe it.

    High EGTS!

I can be on level 0 wich is stock level and get on it without towing and reach over 1200 easily.

    High EGTS!

The only fueling mods that are not in my signature is a hotrod vp44 that was supposedly turned up from a stock hotrod pump. If I had boost leaks, would I still show good boost pressures at almost 30 or above?

    Transmission Overheating

The check ball has been removed when the tranny was rebuilt. I have not been over that grade since my truck was stock. I had tranny overheating problems before, then I had the tranny rebuilt and the converter rebuilt. Then I also cleaned the radiator and moved the oil breather bottle. I pulled the tranny out of OD when I started pulling the hill. I probably should have dropped it in to second.

    Transmission Overheating

IT does but, my tranny temp got up to 210! I pulled the radiator and cleaned it and cleaned the tranny cooler also!

    High EGTS!

I can run on level 3 back down to 2 or even 1 and still get over 1400 degrees! I think I really need to get a bigger TURBO! What should I start saving for??

    Transmission Overheating

This last weekend my tranny over heated pulling the hill going to silvercreek plunge! Was not pushing real hard and the truck did not get hot. What should I add a tranny cooler? Deep tranny pan? or both and if so wich ones?

    TPS HELP!!!!!!!!!!

I found what they call a SIGNAL STABILIZER. This is suppose to help stabilize the TPS when driving between 40 and 55 mph. so your truck will go into lock up. This is one of the problems that I have been having for quit awhile. I put this on and it helped out quit a bit. It did not totally help but, did help out. So I went ahead and changed the TPS and I think the SIGNAL STABILIZER helped out more. Anyway I can use my cruise control and its alot smoother than it has ever been!! Now maybe my mileage will be alot more consistent! I hope!

I did check voltage at pin #3 before you posted and it was not smooth. The voltage dropped off after it went up.
